How does a paraffin treatment work? 

Your hands will be dipped into a small plastic bag filled with paraffin wax. The paraffin is often scented with soothing essential oils. Your hands will then be wrapped in a hot towel, and you can relax as the benefits kick in. The wax will trap the heat against your skin as it hardens, opening the pores.
